What is TransReSpankt?
TransReSpankt is a BDSM play party for transgendered, genderqueer and intersexed people and those who love to play with them. It is held in Melbourne, Australia, twice a year.
TransReSpankt is the rebellious sibling of TransReSext, a sex party for transgendered, genderqueer and intersexed people. It came about both because the organizer of TransReSext noticed that the BDSM area was the most popular area on the night, and also because there is a lack of tg/gq/is focussed BDSM events in Australia.
When and where is TransReSpankt?
TransReSpankt will be held on the 23rd of May at Blue Velvet Bar in Collingwood, starting at 9pm.

How much does TransReSpankt cost?
Entrance to TransReSpankt is a flat $20 for everyone, paid at the door. We apologise for it being so high, but proceeds from TransReSpankt are used to continue running TransReSpankt and also go towards running TransReSext.
TransReSpankt is an event run FOR the community. If you are a transgendered/genderqueer/intersexed person and can't afford the $20 entry, contact the organizer. There are options for those who are suffering financial hardships.
Can I just turn up or do I have to book ahead?
You just rock up :) You pay your entry money at the door, to the fabulous doorbitch, on the night.
Do I have to be transgendered, genderqueer, or intersexed to attend?
No. Those who love to play with transgendered, genderqueer and intersexed folks are also welcome to attend.
HOWEVER, we do ask that you remember that TransReSpankt is a night focussed on those who are transgendered, genderqueer, and intersexed, and on THEIR desires, safety and feelings.
Can I bring my cisgendered partner(s)?
Yes, absolutely :)
Is sex allowed at TransReSpankt?
No. Our venue is not a sex on premises venue. You are welcome to play and be sexy, however. If you'd like to have sex, you'll just have to make sure you come to TransReSext later in the year :)
Do I have to play or do anything?
NO. You don't have to do ANYTHING you don't want to do. You're welcome to just come along and chat, or watch if you want. Voyeurism is participation, after all!
Is there a dress code?
No. This is a little unusual in the BDSM world but the goal of TransReSpankt is to make an atmosphere focussed on the comfort of its attendees. Dress in whatever makes you feel sexy.
